Your vote matters as the green versus blue poll keeps tying!
We asked on Facebook and Instagram, and while our jadies (Jesus ladies) on Facebook seemed to like green, Instagram seemed to favor blue. If you haven’t voted, you can help decide!
Why was Eve’s prototype dress originally blue?
Blue is an appealing color, and when myself and clothing lead went to the local fabric store, the green fabrics were picked through. We considered green and blue originally, but couldn’t find green fabrics that worked on doll-scale and were pleasant that fateful trip to the fabric store. We received positive feedback on the blue color.
Why a poll now?
During Christmas time, I had some people tell me Eve looked like Mary and adding some embroidery to Eve’s dress is too cost prohibitive. I thought what would Mary wear then when we make a Mary doll? So we went back to the fabric store. And GUESS WHAT- they had the same fabric we used for the veil in green! The photo above, I simply photoshopped the dress green! As you can see the real green fabric photo options are much softer than the photoshopped green fabric.
What will the final result will be?
The votes will decide! Please let me know what your daughters and granddaughters think!! Even our votes from children have now come to a tie. Blue has been described as classic and beautiful. While green has been described as fitting Eve’s motifs better and as a nice color too.
I think green is perfect for Eve.

Green. Eve needs a steam alone color. Blue is more fitting for Mary
