Dreams involve sleep, but following a dream entails a lot of sleepless nights. Picturing the mosaic of obstacles and successes that occurred since the inception of Jadies and Grace, it is truly a blessing to have the “and Grace” to carry through. Plus the huge blessing of support from people like you who are helping make Eve doll a reality! We give you our deepest appreciation.

While we did not account for how daunting most designers would find making a doll or for covid-19, we do have some incredibly exciting news to share!

Manufacturing Quotes Arriving

= How Many Pre-Orders We’ll Need

Eve doll’s files were translated into manufacturing documents that factories utilize to give price quotes over the winter. Price quotes are important, because they enable Jadies and Grace to have more accurate cost estimates for the price of molds and for how much it will cost to make each Eve doll. Molds are what the factory pours plastic into to make Eve’s unique head and body. As we receive precise quotes, it means that we can start to determine how many pre-orders we need and how much we will have to raise through crowdfunding to cover the significant costs of the molds.

Pre-Orders Should Start Early 2021

I saw a quote recently that said when you make plans, God laughs. However, in God’s infinite wisdom, we are trusting that Eve doll was meant to come into the world in 2021! We are working very hard and praying very hard! Through grace and grit, the launch should be happening before Easter, and we are so happy to have you join us for it.
